India Rena Benson was born in Cherryville, North Carolina, in January of 1997. She is the youngest and only girl of five children. She is 18 years old and attends The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Since the early age of two, she has been an avid reader. She spent her early childhood reading constantly, most of the time many hours. At age 11, she began writing short stories and novels during her leisure time as well. Soon, she found a love in writing and it became an equal passion of hers. At age 14, she wrote Teen Angel which is her first published novel. Teen Angel is a Christian Contemporary novel that follows the life of Holly Springs, a medical doctor in Trimble, Missouri. It encompasses the romance, thriller, and mystery genres, resulting in a dynamic plot and relatable characters.
India writes for an adult audience, primarily ages 18 and older. She continues to write and plans on having many published novels in the future. Upon college graduation, she plans on attending medical school and focusing her studies on pediatrics so that she will one day become a pediatrician.
